Service Credit Terms

These Seekr Service Credit Terms (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Seekr Games LLC ("Seekr", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your purchase, receipt, or use of any credit redeemable for our scavenger hunt platform services (“Service Credits”). Capitalized terms used but not defined herein will have the meanings set forth in the Seekr Terms of Service.
1. Service Credit Types
1.1 Prepaid Service Credits
Prepaid Service Credits represent amounts you pay in advance to run scavenger hunts (“Hunts”) on Seekr.
You may use Prepaid Service Credits only to admit participants to your hosted Hunts according to Section 3 (Credit Consumption).
1.2 Promotional Service Credits
Promo Service Credits may be granted by Seekr as part of promotional programs, free of charge.
Promo Service Credits may include specific terms or expiration dates as communicated at the time of issuance.
Promo Service Credits will not be applied to any transaction-based taxes due on your account.
2. Service Credit Characteristics
Service Credits are not legal tender, have no monetary value outside of Seekr, and are not refundable, redeemable, or exchangeable for cash or any other form of payment.
Service Credits do not act as a substitute for fiat currency or confer any ownership or property rights.
Service Credits are non‑transferable and may only be used by the account holder to whom they were issued.
3. Credit Consumption
Each Service Credit admits one Active Participant to a Hunt.
An Active Participant is a user who attempts or completes at least one task within a Hunt.
You receive three (3) free participant slots for each Hunt without consuming Service Credits.
The maximum standard room size is twenty‑five (25) participants (including free slots). Hunts exceeding 25 participants require prior approval from Seekr.
Service Credits are deducted from your account balance only after the Hunt ends and only for participants who were Active Participants.
Participants who join but remain inactive do not consume Service Credits but still occupy room slots. If you reach your room size limit, no additional participants—active or inactive—may join.
No Service Credits are consumed if a Hunt is closed while still in the waiting room (i.e., before any tasks are attempted).
4. Credit Balance, Expiration, and Refunds
Your Service Credit balance is displayed in your Seekr account dashboard.
All Service Credit purchases are final. Service Credits are non‑refundable.
Service Credits expire two (2) years after the date of purchase or issuance, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase or issuance.
5. Restrictions on Transfer and Sale
Any attempted sale, transfer, gift, or trade of Service Credits is prohibited and void.
Seekr reserves the right to revoke any Service Credits that were acquired or used in violation of these Terms.
6. Suspension and Termination
Seekr may suspend or terminate your ability to use Service Credits, in whole or in part, in accordance with the Terms of Service.
7. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website or by emailing the email address associated with your account.
Changes become effective upon posting or as otherwise indicated in our email notice. Your continued use of any Service Credit after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
